South Causey Farm was acquired in 1976, soon after one horse arrived and the Equestrian Centre began it's rapid growth.

We now house over 40 horses on 100 acres of land, both liveries and riding school horses. We have a large indoor iding arena and show jumping and cross country paddocks.

South Causey Inn was built in 1990 and has grown for 17 years, leading us into our current phase of major re-furbishment. The grounds surrounding the Hotel have also been landscaped and now house a small farm, which provide ample entertainment when relaxing in the garden or viewed from your bedroom window - especially our donkeys,  Lizzie, Lola and baby Bramble!

We are family owned and the success of this business can be put down to the enthusiasm and hard work of all family, friends and Staff, whose unstinting support is fully appreciated. 2012 Olympics at St James Park 26th July - 4th August 2012. 9 football matches are to be played at our local stadium St James Park and South Causey Inn is ideally situated to come and spend a few days whilst watching the game! If you are lucky enough to have tickets for this event give us a call and we'll reserve a room for you in our new courtyard rooms.
