Alan and I want to thank you all for helping to make our recent stay at the South Causey so nice. The food, the service and the room were perfect. Reaching the big 60 was a lot easier to deal with in such pleasant surroundings (the red wine did help a little). This was our second stay and once again everything was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay. We thought it was excellent value for money. Fantastic bar and breakfast was superb. It is very close to Beamish, I would highly recommend staying here! Everything, it is an independent, unique hotel with wonderful surroundings and atmosphere!

The friendly atmosphere, everywhere was so clean & the food was GREAT hats off to the chefs & we spent happy hours just watching the animals, then of course you can discover the Causey Arch & wooded area. Beamish Museum is good value for money. Many thanks we will be back & keep up the good work.

An excellent friendly pub/restaurant with very comfortable rooms. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The farm setting is about as countrified as you can get and it is great for children of all ages.
