We look forward to welcoming you and hope to make this a once in a lifetime day.   Something very special for you both to remember!   South Causey Inn can provide you with a traditional country wedding in a relaxed and informal environment. This is a unique venue, set in over 100 acres, with beautiful gardens which include a formal Victorian herb and flower garden, a small farm with horses, alpacas, donkeys, ducks, sheep, goats and cockerels that crow, and an Equestrian Centre – all of which are available for your guests to take a leisurely stroll and will certainly keep the younger bridesmaids and pageboys well amused and occupied. You and your guests are welcome to use the whole estate for photographs, relaxation and confetti can be thrown anywhere!   Our Staff will go that extra mile to make your day enjoyable and stress free.   We are licenced for Civil Ceremonies with your service being provided by our local Registrars, who offer an intimate, personal and warm celebration of your commitment to each other. Your Civil Ceremony can take part in one of the rooms that are Licenced within the Inn, or for the first time in 2011, Durham County Council will take Services in the beautiful gardens at South Causey Inn.   Here at South Causey Inn, we can offer those extra special touches that ensure your wedding is totally unique.  Whether  taking part in our on site activities, or having a Pre-Wedding Dinner for family and friends in one of our Function rooms, allowing guests from afar to catch up with each other before the big day.     CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING – Take part in this on site activity as an ideal way to take your mind off those pre-wedding nerves. Full gun hire, Clays and Cartridges and tuition are given.    SOUTH CAUSEY EQUESTRIAN CENTRE – (British Horse Society Approved) is available for you and your guests to relax on horseback before or after your wedding!! We also offer PONY RIDES for the younger members of your party to keep them amused and happy throughout the day, where they can take a walk on horseback around the farm. Treat the children to a BOUNCY CASTLE – to ensure all your tiny guests have a fun filled and stress free day!    ARCHERY – a refreshing and relaxing way to spend your morning trying this ancient old art!!   CHEVAL HAIR AND BEAUTY -To make sure you and your guests are looking your absolute best on your Wedding day, we have an on site Hair and Beauty Salon, where you can relax and be pampered from massage treatments, facials, nails and full hair and make up sessions - all on site and all at your disposal. Any guests booking will receive a 15% discount.  If you would like to take part in any of these activities, your Co-Ordinator will be delighted to create your ideal wedding Package.
