Your Wedding Venue

South Causey Inn is proud to be able to offer you a delightful venue for your special day. Having just been Licenced as a venue for Civil Ceremonies, we can offer you a complete package for a small, informal ceremony or a day with a larger guest list. The local Registrar will come here to officiate in a non-religious ceremony, pronouncing you man and wife, before you continue to celebrate with your guests in one of our Reception Rooms.

Whether you are having a Church Service or Civil Ceremony, we have three Function Suites available  - THE BEAMISH SUITE can accommodate forty guests and has a private outdoor Courtyard attached, where guests can have pre-ceremony drinks and relax in the tree filled yard with twinkling lights for added romance!

THE SHAFTO SUITE can accommodate up to one hundred guests in this beautiful, light filled room with views over the gardens.

THE SNUG is a cosy and informal setting for up to thirty guests, with it's own bar attached!

The Bride and Groom are given a complimentary bedroom on the evening of your wedding and we also have 15 other ensuite bedrooms for your guests to join you on a weekend to treasure for the rest of your lives!

If you would like something a little different for your guests, horse riding at our Equestrian Centre or Trout Fishing at our own Beamish Lakes can be arranged - for a relaxed prelude to your Big Day....
