South Causey Inn is the perfect venue to hold your baby shower! Our Beamish Suite is a private function room with its own log burning stove available for parties starting from 20 up to 30 guests.

A selection of Sandwiches:

Egg Mayonnaise  
Ham and Peas Pudding 
Tuna and Sweetcorn bound in Mayonnaise
Three Northumberland Cheeses - Smoked, Cheddar and Nettle, mixed with Red Onion and Mayonnaise

Freshly baked Fruit and Cheese Scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream, Cheese and Grapes, Mini Quiche, Mini Fish and Chips Chefs Cheesecake, Salted Caramel Tart, Milk shake, Carrot Cake and mini Sundae!

Tea or Coffee will be on free flow and 
Re-filled as many times as you like.
Contains: Gluten, Eggs, Milk and Nuts

£19.95 per person.

Your chairs can be decorated with a coloured sash of your choice.

WHERE AND WHEN?
Monday - Saturday Lunch is available from 12 until 5pm

WHEN IS IT NOT AVAILABLE?
Unfortunately, private rooms are not available on a Saturday Evening, Sunday's or Bank Holidays however, we do cater for large parties in our other Restaurants. Please call and ask for more information.

IS THERE A ROOM HIRE FEE?
All bookings are required to pay a £50.00 room hire fee ontop of the Afternoon Tea menu cost.


IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER FOR THE PRIVATE ROOM?
Yes the minimum number is 20 adult guests who must all be catered for from one of the above menus. During all Private Parties ALL guests must be catered for.

WHAT CAN I DO IF I DON’T HAVE THE MINIMUM NUMBER?
The minimum spend for private use of our function room is based on 20 adults. If you were to bring less guests, this minimum spend would be applicable.

CAN THE ROOM BE DRESSED?
We can provide a variety of coloured sashes and house flowers or you are welcome to bring your own balloons, banners, a cake etc. Of course we have baby pink and blue - or if you are keeping it a surprise neutral tones as well.

DO YOU ALLOW CORKAGE?
Unfortunately we do not allow corkage.

WHAT WINES/DRINKS PACKAGES DO YOU OFFER?
We do not have a set drinks package however you can purchase Champagne, Wine or Sparkling Wine by the bottle or glass. You can also set up a bar tab to be paid at the end of the evening.

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?
Children are more than welcome as long as supervised by a responsible adult. We also have a separate children’s Menu which can be viewed here : Please note that children do not count towards the minimum occupancy number.

HOW CAN I BOOK AND WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE? 
Bookings can be held with a £50 non refundable and non transferable room hire fee and full payment, menu options etc are due one week prior to the event.

CAN I ADD AN OVERNIGHT STAY?
