South Causey Equestrian Centre, BHS Approved has been at the site in Stanley, County Durham for over 25 years and comprises a busy riding school, livery yard, indoor arena, 100 acres of grazing, cross country schooling paddocks and a full set of BSJA show jumps.

CHILDRENS PARTIES
South Causey offer Horse Riding, Archery, Air Rifle Shooting, Orienteering and Fishing Parties anything you can think of!
Children take part in their chosen activity then head off to the Coffee Shop for food!

At South Causey we offer premier Full Livery to cater for all of the needs of you and your horse.
Livery includes:
Daily muck out, skip out and bedding
Feed (not inclusive of supplements)
Turnout and catching
All year turnout

MAY
Tuesday 1st – Tuesday Night Show Jumping, everyone welcome, some school horse are available. Classes are Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Open. Entry is £5 each class. Starts at 6pm
Thursday 3rd – Claire Dryden Clinic, Lessons are based on 4 people sharing for one hour costing £20 per person; private lessons can be booked on request.
Monday 7th – South Causey Horse of the Year Show!!!!!
Watch out for schedules coming soon!!
Saturday 12th to Friday 18th – BHS Progressive Riding Tests, during lessons all riders will have the chance to take their Tests, your instructor will have more details on which test you will be doing.
Monday 21st – South Causey Riding Club Wine Tasting Evening, more details to follow!.
Tuesday 22nd – Why not have a go at Horseball, some school horses are available. Prices are £5 on your own horse and £10 on a school horse. Starts at 7pm booking is essential.
Saturday 26th – Have a Go Clay Pigeon Shoot, the shoot starts at 10am with gun hire, clays, cartridges and tuition. Cost £35. Places can be booked with Michelle (07814526117)
