Settle in for afternoon tea at South Causey Inn. Enjoy freshly baked scones, delicate sandwiches, and homemade sweet treats, all served with free-flowing tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. It’s a simple pleasure, made for slow afternoons.

Booking Details

Afternoon Tea must be booked, with full payment, at least 24 hours in advance. Any dietary requirements must be stated on booking. All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable.

For tables of over 10 guests, a £10 per person non-refundable deposit is required - remaining balance is due 1 week prior to arrival. Children can only be booked by calling us directly - unfortunately these cannot be booked online.

Please note: Free-flowing tea, coffee, and hot chocolates can not be substituted with any other drinks. Menus and pricing may be subject to change. Our afternoon teas are served on either bird cages or picnic tables, however, the same menu is be served on both.

Extras & Add on's

TicketPlan Protection

TicketPlan Protection is an optional service offered by South Causey Inn and administered by TicketPlan on South Causey Inn's behalf, it is not an insurance policy.

Tickets with TicketPlan Protection allow an application to be made for a refund if you are unable to attend due to circumstance covered in the TicketPlan Refund Promise.

TicketPlan Protection must be purchases at the same time as the Tickets to be covered, and cannot be applied retrospectively. TicketPlan Protection is non-refundable.

By selecting a ticket with TicketPlan Protection included, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree to TicketPlan Terms & Conditions.

Yes – we offer dedicated vegan, gluten free, children’s, and traditional menus. Please share any dietary needs when booking so we can prepare everything in advance.

Afternoon tea is bookable only, with full payment required at the time of booking.

For parties 10+, a £10 per person deposit is required with the balance due 1 week prior.
